AUGUST 15 - 18, 2012 at Pla-Mor Campground, Hwy. 6, Bremen, Indiana
Questions? www.iwcsc.org or Call Marcia Yrineo 574-204-2856
If you have paid your registration in advance or called Marcia to pre-register and pay at the door - your name will be on a Pre-Registered List when you arrive. You will be given your carving badge when you sign in at the carvers registration desk. Wear your carving badge during class time.
If you are camping with us at Pla-Mor Campground, you must reserve a campsite. You can pay when you arrive or pay in advance. (Cash or personal checks only - NO credit cards at camp!)
Registered woodcarvers pay just $20 (plus tax makes it $21.40) per night during the event in the WOODCARVERS GROUP AREA ONLY. All other areas you must pay the regular season rates. You can arrive Tuesday afternoon and stay thru Sunday noon in the GROUP AREA for just $107.00. You can arrive early or stay longer, but regular season rates will apply for extra days. To reserve a campsite - please call 574-546-3665.
NOTICE: Only 17 Sewer sites are available in the Woodcarvers Group Area. Please reserve early. There are always plenty of Electric/Water sites available. If you are too late to reserve a sewer hookup at the discount rate in the Woodcarvers Group Area - you may park in another area with sewer hookups at regular season rates OR you can accept a water/electric site in the group area at the group rate and use the public bathrooms.
Non-carvers and crafters do not pay a registration fee, but must be registered for your campsite when you check in. Each craft instructor will charge a Materials Fee based on the projects you choose. Soap carving kits will be available free for young children, and Origami and Paper Quilling will be free - compliments of the Council Oak and Good Time Woodcarving Clubs.
Woodcarvers pay a one time non-refundable Registration Fee which is good for the entire 2012 event and includes parking. $5.00 daily at the door rates. If paid in advance and staying all 4 days, you get a $5 discount. Your advance payment must arrive by August 10, 2012 or you can call Marcia to have your name added to the pre-register list, and pay $15 cash at the door. If we do not receive your registration in advance - you will pay $5 per day per carver to receive your carving pass. If you mail a check that does not arrive on time - it will be returned after the event.
Payment in advance helps us determine attendance and therefore assures that we have enough supplies. We want your experience at our summer camp to be comfortable and fun…and we appreciate your comments and suggestions.
Attention: Woodcarving is inherently dangerous. Carvers should wear gloves and finger guards to protect from injury. Use caution when handling tools and knives. Registering for this event includes your release harmless of all claims. By registering, you agree to release harmless all instructors and vendors at the event, Pla-Mor Campgrounds of Bremen, Council Oak Woodcarvers Club of South Bend, Good Time Carvers Club of Plymouth, and all members, owners, officers, directors and staff of these named organizations, for all accidents, injuries or deaths, damages to persons or property (including carvings) real and personal, and loss by theft or vandalism, caused by or arising from participation at this annual event. Email addresses shared with us will be added to our mailing list and may be shared with other woodcarvers & woodcarving vendors, but will NEVER be sold or given to non-woodcarvers.
