The Indiana Woodcarvers Summer Camp is an annual Roundup of woodcarvers in August each year. Our event is inexpensive and not intended to make a profit, but we do NOT have State or Federal status as a non-profit organization yet.

Instructors include National Champions and members of the CCA (Caricature Carvers of America), as well as many other talented carvers. The camp is open to everyone, from everywhere, and from beginners to advanced carvers. Children are especially welcome - this is a family camp and makes a great annual vacation at an affordable price!

We’re pleased that you've visited our website, where you can find information and photographs for the annual Indiana Woodcarvers Summer Camps, past and present.

Remember that we’re dedicated to making your visit to our summer camp the best that it can be.  If you need special help, or have any suggestions or complaints... we want to hear from you!  Click the Email Me button (above, right) to shoot us an email to request more information.

This website will be updated frequently to make sure you have access to the latest information. Explore and enjoy this site and keep checking back for updates!

Next Summer Camp is August 15-18, 2012.
2011 was really fun, and overall it was a great success for our 3rd year.  2011 camp was attended by folks from IN, KY, TN, OH, IL, MI, IA, MO, MN, PA, NY, and FL!  Attendance was about the same as 2010 -  I was hoping for growth, but in light of the economy - holding our own was good.

Changes are necessary to comply with Indiana Laws. There will be NO RAFFLES, and NO DOOR PRIZES. We can award prizes thru games of skill like Trivia games and Auctions are permitted for raising funds. We are seeking donations for the Auction. Funds recieved from the auction are used for camp expenses next year. Auction donations are NOT tax deductible... because we are NOT state or federal certified as a non-profit organization. But we are very grateful for your donations and support for this event.

There is always room for improvement.  We live and learn.  We are committed to make the summer camp the best that it can be, and improve it each year. Your input is welcome...if you have comments or suggestions - feel free to call Marcy and discuss them, or send us an email or postal letter (even anonymously). We need to hear from everybody to get a clear picture of what you need and want at camp. (See the Contact Us page.)

Participation in the Blanket Trade is dwindling everywhere! We'd like to encourage you to bring something for the Blanket Trade! Unusual items of any kind are welcome! Bring stuff you no longer need and trade it for something useful. Especially anything related to CARVING that you want to trade. Books, magazines, old carvings, wood, knifes, tools, etc.  This can be a really fun and funny event with more participation and a bit of story time imagination.
Almost all vendors and instructors are returning for 2012!
Plus new crafters and new vendor (Cedar Bird Shoppe)!
