The Indiana Woodcarvers Summer Camp is a not-for-profit annual Roundup of woodcarvers in August each year. Instructors include World and National Champions and members of the CCA (Caricature Carvers of America), as well as many other talented carvers. The camp is open to everyone, from everywhere, and from beginners to advanced carvers. Children are especially welcome - this is a family camp and makes a great annual vacation at an affordable price!

We’re pleased that you've visited our website, where you can find information and photographs for the annual Indiana Woodcarvers Summer Camps, past and present.

The 2010 Indiana Woodcarvers Summer Camp (IWCSC) is over.  Sigh... But the dates have been set for next year! August 17-20, 2011.

2010 was loads of fun, and overall it was a great success for our 2nd year.  2010 camp was attended by folks from IN, KY, TN, OH, IL, MI, IA, MO, MN, PA, NY, and FL!  There were 123 registered carvers, plus spouses and children who are non-carvers, plus our club members/staff, instructors & vendors & the bands.  About the same attendance as 2009. I was hoping for growth, but in light of the economy - holding our own was good.

There is always room for improvement.  We live and learn.  A committee will be looking at all aspects of the camp events and making decisions that make next year even better than the first two!  Watch for a new page on this website that will discuss the changes for next year.  As we determine what to change, it will be posted there.

Your input is welcome...if you have comments or suggestions - feel free to call Marcy and discuss them, or send us an email or postal letter (even anonymously). We need to hear from vendors, instructors, campers, and attendees to get a clear picture of what everybody needs. (See the Contact Us page.)

Thanks for coming...hope to see you next year!
